If you have Akuma measure him. Then compensate for his pose as standing straight up he would be taller.

Then check the official heights and extrapolate. You will find that the Akuma is almost 10% larger than 1:3 scale

So Sagat has to be similarly incresed in height or he will look too small next to Akuma and Ryu

Remember...the 1:3 line is larger than 1:3

One thing that threw me off the 1/4 scale MM line was scale inconsistency.

I think this would work, very similar to the original he's kinda hunched over that will help the size and cost

So many things have been going through my mind about this. I'm so pumped for this! First of all no way should he be in the same pose as the 1:4. Where's the fun in that? I'd want this Sagat to be unique and different from the 1:4. Having said that, I'm going to assume it's not the exact same pose. Again like the 1:4 I'd want the SFII Sagat with the red stripes and not yellow stripes Alpha.

I don't think it's worth having one as reg and other as an EX. If Jerry can make it so his shorts come off, then have the reg include both red stripes and yellow stripes shorts so that the other 2 EX's can be completely different alternate costumes.

Also the base has me excited. Just thinking about what it could be. Muay Thai themed, Thailand themed. I have a question for you Jerry. Back when you showed original concept for the Ryu Vs Sagat diorama, the base was originally a Buddha based on Sagat's stage. I remember you had to change it because of religious reasons was it? Can't remember exactly, but would it be the same case for the 1:3 where you won't be able to have a buddha statue themed base?

I think if it's possible, it would look badass!

Not a bad pose, but the 1:4 basically already did it better, and more accurate to a Muay Thai stance.

I agree, that looks like it. Hope so anyway. That was my preference.

Good chance, since the Instagram left hand pic would fit (assuming it's upside down). Also, Jerry's comments about the height they're going for with this statue, which would pretty much dictate a 'standing tall' pose.
