Bingo. With premium prices come smaller edition sizes. I am not going to compromise anymore. I have statues that I can't sell .

You can sell them. You just can't sell them for what you want for them.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

You mean you can't sell them for what you paid for them. Pretty bad when you can't even get retail value.

So far this is my complaint about Tweeterhead. They say something and then they do not follow through. I'm not ES extremist but why post that Harley PO ends on 8/15 noon and then keep her available? Also last week we were supposed to get a list on what's to come and that didn't happen.

It would be interesting to test the fair market value of some of these pieces. Put them up on eBay in a 7 day auction starting at a penny and see what they hammer at. An expensive test, I'm sure, but it would be interesting.

I literally have to give them away for free here in Aus.
Seriousy though I am not being petty,I just don't want to pay retail for something that will be in the thousands, it's not collectible anymore by my standards.
I want collectibilty to come back to the hobby otherwise it won't survive.

Yeah, I was going to ask them about that on Facebook. I was looking forward to seeing this list.

Agreed! I'm not looking to make money selling statues. I don't really care if they go up in value, but will admit it's a cool feeling when they do. I do however hate paying more than I need to for anything and a bloated ES more times than not means I could've picked the piece up later/elsewhere for less. Plus at these prices I expect the run to be kept at a respectable level as they're supposed to be collectible, and let's face it, when these things are mass produced interest wains.

I think, correct me if I'm wrong, that the deposits are fully refundable. I've been thinking about going that route if the ESs are too high and buying them after release. It's an option at least.
