Chad said the EX would be portrait with slick back Alex Ross “justice” hairstyle. Do any of you have any reference to what that will look like?

Maybe it's something close to this

I asked about the Jason Todd head. When Chad mentioned the Alex Ross sketch and the hair "slicked back" I pictured this and was like "yeah, that's pretty much what I'm talking about."

I'll be happy with that.

Not to be a diehard or a stickler, but since this is a "Super Powers Collection" based series, shouldn't the basic/primary statues (not the variants) reflect that era (cartoon/toys) for the most part??? Supergirl (unproduced toy) , Wonder Woman and Batman (yellow oval) have direct ties to those era depictions, costumes and style-wise, as do Martian Manhunter (trunks, harness, cape and boots), Green Lantern (v-crotch) and Superman (trunks). If the name of the series is not going to be honored conceptually, why even bother to call it that? Like I said, variants are a whole 'nother thing but some continuity should be adhered to... maybe??

I think the rationale given was that when Nightwing is released, collectors can use the alternate portrait as Jason Todd so that they don't have two Dick Graysons on display.

I think Chad was very clear, especially last video, that he is not going to always make the statue exactly to the superpowers era look. That is why we had a chance to vote for which starfire we want and soon which Zatanna (I also think he briefly mentioned that they won't use satellite era costume for Mr. Freeze in one of his videos). Alex Ross hair is just the exclusive and Perez hairstyle is reg, so in this case, you can choose to display which one.

I probably should just let it drop since Harley didn't even exist until around seven years after the collection ended. . When the line began, "Disco" Nightwing was just becoming a character (not counting Kal-El's Kandorian alter ego) and Jason was a near clone of Dick before the reboot made him edgier. Have fun all... I'm probably only getting Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl (Donna Troy) and Starfire anyway.

It’s just the name of the line itself, to pay homage to the Superpowers toy collection as it was a big influence on Chads younger self. Any of the multitude of Dc characters is up for creation and like Bowen Designs, I’m sure we will see many different variations of characters and costumes from different eras. I myself am very excited for the possibility’s.

Yeah it’s been stated on numerous occasions that the name Super Powers means nothing when it comes to character/costume choices.
