I prefer it without the powder. To me it deadens the intensity of the piece. I'm surprised some people have not done a custom paint up to make it look like the original display one.
They changed the colour because customers didn't think the original paint up was accurate. And now this. There is no winning really. Companies should stick with their gut on these pieces.
I probably wouldn't have even PO'd this if the proto had the darker purple it has now. It may have not been super accurate, but I preferred the brighter purple by a lot. I'd probably keep it if we got the proto.
Out of interest what's the Thanos bust retailing on the secondary market?
There are only a few that I have seen sell on ebay. A opened one sold for a whopping $4500. That's crazy. Don't think that's the norm though. Norm seems to be retail plus shipping, but he was $3k shipped to most people at retail, so add a few hundred on top.

Ok nothing special picture wise, but I tried to capture the look of the skin as best as possible as most of the debate on this piece centres around that.
I’ve not altered the pics in anyway, the close up shots capture the skin tone the best and so they’re closest to how it looks in person.
Honestly though I couldn’t be happier with it, it’s stunning in person and has amazing presence when you walk in the room, definitely happy with the purchase
