The email was not bogus, Kefka.
Everything the email described was proven to be true
And I even believe Chronicle created a post on here saying it’s all false...and all is well.

That wasn't why they went under. Believe it or not businesses can fail for many reasons, and more so during a pandemic.

The “email” that described everything that involved chronicles demise came out in July 2019. LONG before the pandemic effected anything.

Pandemic had absolutely zero to do with Chronicle Collectibles downward spiral.

Just a little.
It did shine a brighter light and pulled the curtain back a bit faster.

They made a lot of bad decisions and got unlucky with some of their partners and they couldn't continue, it happens to businesses everyday without needing a supervillain plot behind it. Those are the current FACTS, not whatever troll biased garbage you have rattling around in your empty head.

I have to agree with the first part of your argument that they never intended to go under and had intended on fulfilling orders. The problem is when they did know they were going under they were still taking orders knowing they were not going to fulfill them, the dates show that easily. Then the lawyers statements started to continue the games.
They didn’t mean to hit the iceberg and go down like the titanic but as the ship was going down they were pushing the old ladies and kids in the water so they could save room for themselves on the row boats.

Just to pop this in here:
Legally there are 3 types of contractual misrepresentation:
1.Innocent
2.Negligent
3.Fraudulent (or Reckless)
Whatever the circumstances may be, nothing about Chronicles actions classify as #1.

See, we don't know the exact date they "knew", and even going into bankruptcy is not always the "end", many come back from it so the fact that they kept orders open was not in and of itself negligent. They did stop preorders eventually, everything on the site went down months before they liquidated. They also did refund some people so that does not fit with the scammer narrative he is trying to push. Every business eventually goes under and inevitably not everyone comes out whole, it's just part of life.
