I enjoyed it for what it was.
I find it funny that it was mortal combat without actually having the mortal combat tournament

It's sacrilegious to spell it with a C

Was ok, had higher hopes going in so a little disappointing.
Loved the fatalities, wish there were more.

I enjoyed it for what it is. Honestly I wasn't expecting it to be some great cinematic experience.
It's a ridiculous premise to begin with. The acting could have been better and I thought the worst part was the made up character.
Should have just used Cage imo.

I set my expectations and got what I wanted. Scorpion and Sub Zero fights were fun. For me 2021 was superior to 1995. Flaws, sure. Editing was too western (choppy) and the protagonist was boring.
I'm not sure what others wanted, but I had a good time. Reminded me of Godzilla vs. Kong. Silly campy fun.

I dont think I hated the movie as much as you guys, I'd give it 6.5/10
I dont like some of the characterisations, and the new story they came up with for how the fighters get their abilities is really dumb, but overall it was a fun watch IMO the 1995 is still a better movie

Horrible writing... I've seen better writing in the video games themselves...
4/10
To many cheesy parts in the movie... I had a hard time finishing the movie... horrible actors...

Had hopes for MK. Too many bad reviews. Sounds average at best. Sound worse than the recent Wonder Woman movie, which i have seen and felt was one hour longer than needed to be.

I wish Wonder Woman 84 was at the level Mortal Kombat is. I'll take fine with a few good moments over an absolute mess.
