- Part 2 of 2 -

- Prototype XM Studios Robin King (Dark Nights: Death Metal) 1/4 Scale Statue -

"With a utility belt filled to the brim with weapons designed to kill every hero in the DCU, Robin King is the most sadistic soldier in the Darkest Knight evil army! Can anyone stop him from laying waste to Earth’s last line of defense? And how did he become one of the Batman Who Laugh’s groblins in the first place? And in the backup story, can the Robins liberate Gotham City from the Darkest Knight’s control?"

Batman Statue Collector review is up.

Cool enough piece, but does anyone actually care about this character? Even if it were free, I couldn't see holding on to it except as a placeholder to fill a space.

I will live vicariously through others with this one. To many other characters in front of this one on my list.

Dark metal knights is to new I think for most older collectors with money that just thought the event was just ok or cool enough. When the older rogues they've been waiting on still haven't been made.

To be fair to XM it is not a bad looking statue, but I find it interesting that they don't over texture when it comes to DC pieces in the way they do with the X-Men line. DC must lay the law down pretty hard on them regarding that.

So to answer your question, not for free or to fill in space at least for me. I'd buy probably buy SS BWL just because of the concept of his character was good, but the story was just ok.

If they want my money for Batman characters, start making like clay face/firefly batman rogues sideshow likely won't do.

I'm that one guy who thought The Drowned was the best of all the evil alternate Batmen.

If Tweeterhead ever tackled this stuff in 1/6 scale I'd be tempted to throw them in with some Batman rogues, but I don't want to give them a bigger footprint than that in my collection.

This line was supposed to be 1/6, or they at least showed Red Death as a 1/6 early on.
