Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

I know from experience from putting together the 1/4 scale BGJH, that it will take around an hour or so to assemble for display.

It's really not as overwhelming as the instructions may seem with this 1/3. Put his lower half legs in the base, put the torso & arms on top. Pick the hands & head you want....then plug in the little bits and pieces. (Canon, necklaces, plants etc.)

Assembly looks pretty straightforward to me and it's good they didn't go mental with the plant/twigs/leaves.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

Easily the better art direction and style for me.

I know my collection gives me a different perspective to most folks here, but as regards this new 1:3 . . . I simply don't need another "museum pose" piece.

However, I have to admit the 1:3 (1:2.5 ?) turned out looking much better than the preorder photos suggested (either they adjusted the gut proportions or the original photos did him no favours).

Another few months until you folks get to see him in-hand . . . fingers crossed for great QC!

Can only imagine the size of this beast.....
