That is only on specific pieces, not everything unfortunately. It isn't even working for those however as the site has been having issues for a long time.

I just checked my previous orders and it seems to be a California state tax fee. Past Iron Studios orders' tax fees are specifically labelled as "STATE TAX: CA".

Iron Studios has a warehouse in Vernon, California, so yes, they have to charge sales tax.

My Knightmare Batman arrived today. Unfortunately, the trench-coat was completely broken. The rest of the statue looks outstanding. The details are incredible and the base is pretty heavy. They did a nice touch with the taillights. The portraits are on point. The goggles have glass, I believe, because you can see through them even though they are dusty. You can even see Batman's eyes through them on the portrait that has the goggles down. It compliments the WETA Superman statue really well. Maybe it's because I am biased for Batman, but I think this is the best one that they released in the line. Hopefully I hear back from WETA soon.

Sorry for the harsh light, nearmint. I took these pictures just now in the study. The paint on the skin tone is a lot more detailed and not at all shiny. I'll try to take better pictures this weekend.

That's a shame! Glad it's a good piece though. They will probably send you another one as they did with my Superman.

Just got him in today. Pretty happy with him, though not sure the price increase was justified. The details are quite good, and I'm convinced nobody does dirt and rock as well as Weta. The face sculpt looks like Affleck to me. I'm not sure how large a man Jared Leto is, the size difference of Joker is noticeable but not a deal breaker imo.

I'm glad to see that your's came in one piece, B_dub345! It gives me hope for mine. WETA replied to my message and said that they would be sending a replacement in a couple of days, T1000.

Your Batman statue and setup with the 3 looks amazing, B_dub345. Nicely done! I just looked up their heights and Leto is 5'11" and Affleck is 6'2". A 3" difference.

Haha same! Sorry about yours but glad they've got you covered. I imagine the cold weather doesn't help.

Thanks! Yeah, Batman's larger appearance is definitely at least partly due to him standing on an old car.
