One rumor was Liev Schreiber. If you put a beard on him and color it gray, he looks like Ray.

I'd be good with that as well. I think he would be able to pull it off very well.

I wonder how often Captain Enoch thinks of the Roman Empire?

I have a feeling we're getting a massive cliff hanger tonight as a lot to do and not much time to do it in.
I'm still very excited to see where the story goes.

Last episode. Hmm, liked it and didn't like it.
Now the long wait for Season 2

Overall, while it had its moments, I was disappointed in the series. It didn't capitalize on some of the "new galaxy" promise and frankly, started off on the wrong foot with the whole "Sabine as a Jedi" concept (which never worked for me).

You're pretty much correct. I knew Thrawn's story would go on, but concerning Baylan's endgame, it seems obvious there was more to come, which makes it all the more sad that Ray Stevenson passed away. But I'm really intrigued with the inclusion of the Mortis god statues...the father, son, and daughter (missing her head), and the light beacon on the distant mountain top. The Abeloth theory doesn't seem far-fetched anymore as she has Mortis connections in Legends, and she would be something powerful and scary enough to make even the three nightsister mothers want to get the hell off Peridea. But with Ahsoka, Sabine, Shin, and Baylan still on Peridea, what does that mean for future storytelling in this era...Ahsoka Season 2, the Filoni film, something else? Next year I believe we have Skeleton Crew and The Acolyte, but only Skeleton Crew takes place in this part of the timeline, but I'm not sure how or if it will connect with Thrawn or Ahsoka.
