Yeah, it's a legitimate concern.

Not really. Sometimes we are too close to see the big picture. First of all they have to get a movie out good enough to even warrant a sequel.
They've already lost most of their main MCU cast anyway, X-Men recasts, even Kang has to be recast but regardless another culmination is not going to go like Infinity War. This junk cannot keep on whatever indefinite trajectory people seem to still be dreaming up for another 5-10 years.
Comics may have gone on and on but these movies will not.

Deadpool & Wolverine should give the MCU a needed boost, and hopefully they can take advantage of that. The Fantastic Four and the X-Men especially are so key to any future success...as well as slowing the pace of content and making sure quality comes first. Iger has made that clear and we've been seeing overhauls with Daredevil Born Again, Blade, etc.

This is a clever catch. The cover of Time Magazine that Ben’s reading in the Valentine’s Day promo art suggests the movie may be set in 1963:

This is probably because of Disney couldn't find any other way to make Silver Surfer different from the previous unsuccesful FF film version. I would like them to do a FF film as close to the source material as possible, but what can you do...

Interesting, I wasn't aware of Shall-Bal. She's a fantastic actress, was amazing in Ozark.
