I agree. And what I find interesting about that, is the fact that up until a few years ago Roger Clemens was pretty much on par with Bonds in terms of how he treated others/media. Its just been the past few years where he has transformed into a huggable teddy bear based largely on his accomplishments at such an advanced age.
But as some baseball writers have noted, it is highly unlikely that a pitcher's fastball improves after age 35.
