The last sideshow statue for me that was a must have was Thanos on Throne. After that I bought the yellow suit Wolverine and the Punisher but that is it. I have bought Hot Toys from them as well but I really haven't seen anything that i've liked more than what's out there from the custom manufacturers.

Those are some of my last purchases too. Thanos on throne and Yellow Suit Wolverine . Iron Man instead of Punisher . A few Hot Toys before I stopped collecting 1/6.

That can vary. Upfront license can be 100k (depending on license and length of time). Then, you may have to pay 15% of retail. There can be a minimum charge too so you just can't sit on the product. There are no breaks on expenses yet you will have to do it over until it gets approved regardless if it's the sculpture or the artwork on the box.

Ooof

Again, Sideshow demonstrating how out of touch they are with inflated prices. They clearly thought they had a rival for XM Ghost Rider, which I think is a really nice representation of the character. This is decent, but not $1,100.00.

As far as customs go, I generally stay away from them. I find a lot of them tacky. There are some nice ones like Shazam transformation and X-Force Wolverine vs Ninjas but those are exceptions to the rule.

You also hear horror stories out there about shady commissioners and unfinished projects. I know for the most part if something is really wrong my money is pretty well protected with the reputable companies.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.
