I refused to sign off on the cancellation, especially since I had already sent money via PayPal. He has since replied and pretty much said I can do/say whatever I want, I ain't getting the statue. No biggie. I'll just get it somewhere else. I'll live. PayPal is in the process of returning my cash within their 3 day window.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Slap his head! If you were able. This jerk thinks he's above the rules. Following through is the honorable thing he should do. What an a-- hole!

i thought this was going to be one of those threads..
thanks for the HU
Have you seen the cost of having a reserve price on things?, especially items that cost over a grand. The fees are ridiculous. I try my hardest not to sell on eBay, but now it costs money to sell on all forums too.

Could you tell me what the costs are like? I've been thinking about using eBay to sell some of my things recently.

So aggravating. I detest when hobby pursuits such as this add a log to the "work" pile. Thanks for the heads up on this seller Charles and hopefully the amount of follow up work you have to do is minimal.
