It seems many dont realize the Beyonder has been a female for a number of years now (named Kosmos/the Maker) so it wouldve been easy to miss his/her appearance in Annihilation.

First, the Beyonder had merged with the Molecule Man to become a cosmic cube...



That Cosmic Cube eventually hatched and became Kosmos like Shaper of Worlds and Kubik before. (Yes she looked like the herald, Nova.) Kosmos made appearances with Kubik for a while in various FF Annuals.



She then took a mortal form and became known as the Maker, actually fought Thanos, and was imprisoned at the Kyln, as seen in the short lived Thanos series.



During the first attack of the Annihilation Wave the Kyln was destroyed and the Maker found dead by the Fallen One.
