HDMI is for video and audio. You only need the HDMI cable to connect your 360 to your high definition television. It's much better than using any other kind of cable, since it outputs the best video and audio quality.

Here is a pic of the HDMI cable and the one you need if you want the best connection. Try Amazon they are the cheapest place to buy these. You shouldnt need more than a 3 ft cord.
