To me, it looks awesome.

I know it is not 100% accurate to the source material, but considering it is a real life movie based on an animated fictional video game filled with violence, I think so far they have done a good job with it.

I say keep it coming if this is supposed to eventually be made into a full length movie.

I liked it. Watching it got me really amped even though it is only a movie pitch clip. Over at CBR everyone is bellyaching and moaning about how stupid it looks. While there is potential for this movie to be god awful like the Street Fighter Chun Li movie, I think it has the potential to be good as well. Mortal Kombat hasn't been relevant for years and to me it was THE game that started the whole violence in video games controversy. Any movie based on an existing property always has a stigma attached, but I think a fresh take could do it some good.
