Magneto Question

I've made no bones about the fact that I stopped reading X-Men a long time ago. That said, I've kept up on what's going on with them and have read Astonishing X-Men since the beginning. However, I believe I've missed some of the detail that would help me understand the following.

Magneto killed Jean Grey, right? Didn't he cause her to have a brain hemorrage or something? And, Professor X's love for Jean is what caused the whole Onslaught disaster, right? Regardless of that, he's always loved her whether from a romantic point of view or as a dear student and friend.

Well, haven't Magneto and Prof X formed some kind of partnership and are both living on Genosha now? How could Prof X treat the man who murdered Jean Grey as a friend and partner?

Could someone help me out with this? Thanks.

Jean Grey's dead? Again?

Yo wk, you're better off writing the Onlought thing out of memory. I think you are correct about it though, and it was supposed to be some combination of Magneto and Xavier's psyche. Or something. Whatever.

Xavier definately lives in Genosha, but I thought wolverine took off Magneto's/Gorn's head? Yo, you know what? I don't want it explained. I don't care. I don't even want to think about it.

I'm just going to go read "God Loves, Man Kills" and call it a day...

I thought the one who killed Jean wasen't the real Mags. Just someone else that was using that Kick drug.

If im not mistaked it wasnt really Magneto that killed Jean..
It was another mutant that can mimick over mutants powers and all..
So the Magneto That killed Jean wasnt Magneto at all...

Magneto did not kill Jean Grey.

But I agree..its all way too confusing! You are better off having dropped the title a long time ago.

OK, I think I get it. Unfortunately the explanation really just adds to the confusion (not any of your guys' fault, just typical convoluted X-story telling).

Thanks, fellas!
