18 game season is agreed upon by owners and players asso.
not only does this mean more football and less preseason, it means the new bargain aggreement can proceed with an idea of what salary and profit will be.
they also talked about rookie cap but i didn't find anything about that

More football is a great thing but If they are going to extend the season they should also add an extra bye-week and expand the roster by at least 8 players.

I agree with the extra bye week and the extra players but at the same time I see the players not wanting more people on the team since that will mean less money there for them

No extra bye week. They need to get rid of the pre season games and start earlier.

NFL had a perfect season...
I see absolutely no reason for this other than the owners lining their pockets with more money & putting more use to their NFL Network.
Players have a weak union & will get overmatched by the owners again.
