Next Cinemaquette - Keaton Batman

Well, it looks like PBM Express just announced that the next CM is Keaton Batman.

I love this announcement if true. They show the Returns suit but who knows which version they will give us.

Details were posted here:

My guess is it will be on display at SDCC. Awesome news.

Cool! If that's the maquette, it looks nice!

That is just a screenshot from Returns. No actual pics yet.

Little to big to fit in the batmobile though...

I'm officially sulking as I was hoping it was a Wolf Predator.

That will be difficult to resist _IF_ they nail the likeness/armor. Not too much "artistic interpretation" here, please.
I'm curious about what pose they will use.

Hi Cap!

The above pic is usually how the suit was worn for promo shots for the 1989 movie. In the actual film, the cape and even cowl were a little different:

It will be interesting to see how CM positions the cape and which mask they use since there were a couple of versions in 89.

Then there is the Returns option with a more streamlined cowl and different armor:

Yup, I know where the picture is from, I was trying to show the pose I wanted.
I would display him with the cape like my pic, though, so it could show more details of the arms and armor.

To me they could go either 89 or Returns, as long as they do it right. Get the damn costume scanned and there you have it. No excuses.
I believe there's Keaton facial scans out there, too, so that would make this one hard to screw up!
