Question about Supes action figure...
Ok, I'm not an action figure guy but I played with them alot when I was a kid. Can anyone tell me about this? I'd hate to give it to my nephew if it's collectible, he'd tear it right out of the package. Plus I'm not a Supes kinda guy...maybe CK13...

You mean, should you hold onto it, value-wise? I don't know what this one goes for, but it's a nice one. Keep it!
If you want to have a primo Superman figure, go with the Silver Age Superman & Lois Lane box set from DC Direct... or maybe the Composite Superman, that thing's just freaky.

This is the FIRST DC Direct Superman Figure. Sold Out in comic shops in my area in minutes. Very rare, HARD to come by. Do not give it to anyone. I have 2 that I am holding on for life.
Will easily run into the hundreds in years to come. Saw one in a comic shop in Miami for $175.

Hey check this one out. I found it cleaning out some stuff in my basement. Still in the bag and box. Wizard, I think that's who I got it from a few years ago. Never seen the light of day until now. I suppose that drops the value too.

Are you serious? If you are is there anyway to protect it better? Is there a protective plastic bubble or CGC type service? I've just had it sitting flat on a shelf in my closet since I got it. I'd forgotten about it until a recent purge.

I didn't know that that DC Direct Supes was worth that much. And he only came out about what, a couple years ago?
He looks good and all but I passed cause I couldn't stand the crotch area or those lines running across his thighs. I know, it's for poseabilty but still looks awful to me. I did however picked up Brainiac and Doomsday. Cool figures as heck.
