A MAn With A Mission: The Magneto FS from Hard Hero

Hi guys,

not that log ago I was able to buy the Magneto FS from the X-Men Evolution series made by Hard Hero (thanks Tineke!) and I am very happy with it.
It's a beautifully sculpted piece with a nice paintjob which blends in nicely in my collection together with my Cyclops and Juggernaut FS from the same series.

Ya be crazy to start giving the Juggernaut suggestions.

Loving those Hard Hero pieces Rainer. Congrats on the recent Magneto.

Really too bad Hard Hero is shut down. I have several of their pieces and they are among my favorites.

There have been rumours of this lately but it seems finally that Hard Hero has confirmed they won’t be releasing their Mumm-ra statue and from the looks of it, possibly closing down production altogether.

RE: Refund of Deposit for Mumm-Ra AP

We are enclosing a refund check for the deposit paid on your pre-order of the Mumm-ra statue.

Due to the ongoing market conditions (with no improvement in sight) ,we have decided to cancel future production at this time. Many retailers are no longer offering collectible statues to their customers, while others have left the industry all together.

thanks for checking out this thread!
It's really too bad that Hard Hero has quit releasing statues since I felt they had their own unique style when compared to Sideshow and Bowen Designs.
A Hard Hero piece was distinctly different from any other product and it's really a pity that due to the difficult economic circumstances they had to cancel their production.
Hopefully they will be able to get back in business in the future though!
