Marvel Premier insanely limited release new card set

you guys heard about this?? 5 cards in a pack and each pack goes for $200+

they have a 50 card base set (2 base cards per pack) so the base set alone is nearly impossible to get (each base card is limited to 199 copies and each one is numbered)

they also have 3d 'shadowbox' cards, and 'classic corner' cards, as well as normal sketch cards, single hinged sketch cards (a card that opens up to be a big sketch card) as well as double and triple hinged sketch cards

all in all this set is insane, getting a 50 card base set alone would be about $1000!! I dont think im even going to start collecting it, I was wondering what you guys thought about this set

If there are only 2 base cards per pack at $200 a pack that would be 5k for the base cards. I don't think there is a demand for this.

5k for a set of 50 trading cards not including a whole bunch of chase sketch cards to boot... Well.

yeah but nobody in there right mind would buy that many packs hoping they'll get the right cards for the base set, im talking about an average price based on what they appear to be going for on ebay.

The base cards are so rare, but not even the tip of the iceberg for this set, wish I could collect this set because i have almost all other marvel cards, but it just doesnt seem worth it, could get a few commissions made instead or something

i dont understand the price on these. now if some of Marvel's top talent were doing the sketch card, it would make sense
One site says 4 cards per pack, not 5.

I really wanted to go after Babisus cards but damn they're all so expensive on eBay. As stated above, that's good commission/print money spent on a small card. I think UD was way off the mark on this set.
