New Gaming Prints From Bethesda!

Bethesda are getting into the video game lithograph market. They opened an online store last month and released their first 4 prints (2 Dishonored, 1 Skyrim, and 1 Fallout). I ordered all 4 prints a few weeks back and I received my shipment yesterday. To say I am impressed would be a massive understatement. These are easily some of the best gaming prints I have seen yet. Like Bioware, Bethesda is working with Treehouse stores so the prints look identical to the initial Mass Effect prints. They have a white border, are signed and numbered, limited to 300, and cost 40.00 each.

If you think they look good on screen, wait until you see them in person. Again, easily some of the best gaming prints I have seen yet. Cant wait to see what prints they release next. So many possibilities with series like Elder Scrolls and Fallout. Unfortunately for newcomers, The Skyrim print has already sold out and is selling for 150-250 on eBay.

There are 3 new ones for preorder now. Lots of folks on CAG had damage issues though.

Unfortunately, Treehouse just cant seem to get their act together in regards to shipping. Its absolutely mind boggling as shipping prints is extremely easy, as long as your using the proper methods and you use care when packaging them. The problem I have seen, at least with the packages I have received, is the quality of shipping tape that they are using. You have to tape down the prints when shipping flat or they will slide around during shipping and the edges and corners will get banged up. They are using the cheapest shipping tape I have ever seen. Its so thin that its literally tearing or snapping in half during shipping. Almost all of the damaged prints i have received were no longer secure when they arrived at my house.

The fact that its such a small detail, one that they seem incapable of coming to terms with and fixing, just makes the whole issue that much more frustrating. All they need to do is buy some quality shipping tape!!! Yet, they continue to use the same crappy tape. In all my years of collecting, I have never seen such incompetence before. Ultimately, they make what are arguably the best gaming prints on the market yet they are completely incapable of actually delivering them in mint condition. Again, I just have never seen anything like it before.

Yeah, unfortunately they are focusing more on screen prints than the normal style, which is exactly what we are seeing with other Treehouse brands as well including Tomb Raider and Mass Effect. As nice as some of the screen prints have been, I VASTLY prefer the normal style print with a title and white border. Hopefully they start producing more of those in the future.

And whats up with Gearbox? They release like 1 print every 9 months. I would love to see more Borderlands prints.
