"nach" means "after" in German. So it's someone's copy of a Frazetta.

The origninal painting is called "Warlord of Mars" aka John Carter and the savage apes of mars. Frazetta did it as one of the series he did for "John Carter of Mars" paperbacks.
That Frazetta signature doesn't look right to me. I sent the pics to William Frazetta and he agrees. He said it looks like a very good copy but that is not his Grandfathers signature.
It looks to me like the top signature is of the artist acknowledging he is copying Frazettas work.
William said the original has been sold to a private party but he doesn't know who.

Here is the original, note the signature in the hill toward the middle of the painting, not the edge. That one looks like a pretty good copy though.

Thanks TN. I'm waiting to hear back from the auction house.

Are they representing it as a Frazetta original? There are more and more of the originals out there but this one doesn't appear to be one.
I was trying to decipher that other signature and if it is "J D Flohr" I found a decent Marilyn Monroe painting by him but can find nothing else.

No they just posted it without details. But I recognised it as his work or copy as this appears to be. If it's not to expensive I might purchase as it looks pretty nice.

Agreed that is a very nice copy but man it looks like somebody really abused it. It looks like they cut off the entire upper right corner with a saw or something and the rest of it is dinged up pretty good as well.
Hope you get a manageable price for yourself .

It's 8 feet by 5 feet. Is the original that big. That's almost a whole wall. I'm very tempted.
