I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Rom Space Knight Series

I just got in the entire run of ROM last week. I have been reading a couple issues a night. This brings back alot of memories from when I was a kid. Can anyone recommend any other "cheap" runs for the mid 70s to early 80s.
I like to read a series from the beginning to the end. I paid 25 bucks for the ROM series. Any other good reads would be appreciated.

You can get all 17 issues of the Champions pretty cheap!

ROM was a great series! Didn't get the respect it deserved, IMO!

I would highly recommend:

New Teen Titans vol 2 (1980 - 1991) especially the early Perez / Wolfman issues.

Micronauts (1979) - make sure it's the first series written by Bill Mantlo, with Michael Golden pencilling the first 12 issues.

Ka-Zar the Savage (1981) - I loved this series. Written by Bruce Jones, art by Brent Anderson and others.

Kull the Conqueror (1982) - 2 issues by Doug Moench & John Bolton, then Kull the Conqueror (1983) - 10 issue series by Alan Zelenetz & Sal Buscema

King Conan (1980) - I preferred these over Conan the Barbarian or Savage Sword of Conan. Written by various, art by various.

Omega Men (date?) - Written by Roger Slifer, art by Keith Giffen.

Complete runs of each should be fairly cheap! Hours of great entertainment! Act now!!!

That's cheap??

I remember back in the day when they were new, that these comics were the must have series and all were going for top dollar!

I second these choices, great stuff. Moon Knight, but the Essential is on the way.
