RED SONJA and CONAN canvas giclees??
I'm trying to drum up support for this project, as I'm told that once these are produced, the floodgates may open for other guys like Dell Otto, Alex Horley, and others to do some Conan and Sonja images.
I have been in close contact with Dynamic Forces for many years now, and there is now a unique opportunity available to have the Red Sonja and Conan images by Alex Ross done as canvas giclees, exclusive to my gallery, and EXTREMELY limited.
Does anyone care? PM me or email me.
I'm looking to do them the same size as the Atomika (and most other Marvel DF giclees...basically 16 x 20 unframed) and they will be signed by Alex Ross. I'm looking at making them limited to only 20 in the world (perhaps even ONLY 10!!). This could be a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an Alex Ross release.
I'm trying to keep the price at $500 framed. What do you guys think? Your feedback is appreciated...I value the input.
Thanks!

The art is nice, but I don't associate Ross as "A" or "The" Conan Sonja artist. Why I think it's true he can make about any character stand out he made his mark on the men and women in tights. If this was BWS, Brunner or even Boris (who did a number of the Savage Sword of Conan covers) would be a better choice and better associated with the character.

I have to agree with aaaarrrgghh somewhat at least. Although it shouldnot matter I would rather opt to buy art of some of the better known Conan artists.
Conan is about the only one I would even consider buying a giclee of... interesting though keep us updated.

Well-said. His work looks too "clean" for a sword & sorcery character.

I'm inclined to agree with most of you, though I do think the Conan piece would look AMAZING once framed. Not the sort of thing you would hang in your kid's room, though.
Thanks, guys!
