Battlestar Galactica Season 2.5 Discussion Thread (Spoilers)

Who else is excited? One of the best shows on TV is returning tonight!

Can't wait to see what happens when the Galactica and Pegasus fleet collides.

Oh yes!

I am seriously jonesing for some more BSG. Incredible show.

I have a feeling we will see the return of the Cyclon virus that was used against Galactica. My guess is Gaeta(?) saved it and can use it on the much more succeptible Pegasus.

Rant Alert!

Your civilization has been destroyed.

Cities, nations ...entire worlds scorched by nuclear fire.

All that separates you from total extinction is a handful of ships and some 50,000 souls...

So, of course, you would go around killing each other!

WTH? Great show overall but it gives me some serious logic problems at time.

They keep saying they are at war...NEWS FLASH... WAR OVER...BAD GUYS WIN!!!! Humans zero Toasters 100!

Yes, Admiral Cain out ranks Commander Adama, but even in wartime the military still answers to the civilian government. This seems to have been conveniently omitted.

How the heck did Cain (what 40 years old tops) become an Admiral in the first place? Hell of a first officer too. Heck her entire crew are jerks and boot lickers. I can tell you one thing, a flag officer goes this bonkers, she's going to become a fragged officer pretty darn quick. Obviously, her XO sees that the Admiral's gone a little Captain Crunch in the head and has violated a whole bunch of regulations (unless killing civilians has suddenly become the in thing). Is her entire officer staff brainwashed?

Bah... makes me miss Lloyd Bridges.

After seeing their previous XO shot in the head, I think a few of the officers are going along with her out of self-preservation.

I never liked the Lloyd Bridges version of Cain. I was glad that he only lasted 2 episodes.
