I bought something off of Joe on Ebay before. The guy is a real di ck. I sent him a cashier check and he made me wait for 10 days for it to clear I contacted him several times to try to explain to him what a cashier check was and he was just rude. I paid $10 for shipping and he sent it media mail with no insurance which cost him $2.20 to send. He keeps contacting me and asking if I want a Spider-Woman commission I would not give him a dime. However Brian is a great guy.

hate to tell ya this but i had my credit union and a abnak tell me that they had to put a hold on a cashiers check! i was shocked too. its true tho. they both said a cashiers check and still have a stop payment or whatever on it. they both wanted to put a 7 busniess day hold on it. so joe isnt wrong on that .

I know you can still stop payment.. But isn't Ebay about trust????? I can just as easily dispute the bill on my credit card once the art arrives too. A cashier check is not going to bounce, I did not think people are going to hold onto it in fear of a stop payment. Which if you did you also involved the bank in your fraud and I don't think is very likely.
