Superman Special Edition DVDs on the way

I am so looking forward to a Richard Donner cut of Superman II. And while III & IV were crap, it would be interesting of they added back in the Bizarro Clark scenes that were cut from Superman IV.

Excellent news. I wonder if they will schedule these around the release of the new movie.

Sweet, I waited for who knows what reason to pick them up on DVD, so this should be my chance to get them!

Glad I held off buying Superman II.
I own Superman Special Edition and that one is already well transfered. Think I'll trade it in for this new one.

I loved Superman 1 + 2 when they came out....
The late 70s and early 80s was a great time for a kid to go to the movies.
Special effects were finally taking off and production houses were finally taking chances and having fun out there.

Same here, I bought the 25th anniversary release of the first Superman movie. Very excited to read about this and pick these babies up, even though I couldn't stand Superman III and IV. Never saw Supergirl.

I missed out on getting Supergirl was it was released years ago. It was a decent film but I just want to have it as part of the Superman genre.
