The Unit
A new show developed by David Mamet and Shawn Ryan (Shield creator) and it debuts tonight at 9 on CBS.

From executive producers David Mamet and Shawn Ryan ("The Shield") comes "The Unit", the story of a covert team of Special Forces operatives, their dangerous, undercover missions across the globe, and their families back home. Jonas Blane (Dennis Haysbert) is the Unit's field leader who has the new responsibility of getting green recruit Bob Brown (Scott Foley) integrated into the tightly knit brotherhood of soldiers. Back home, Jonas's wife Molly (Regina Taylor) commands her own kind of tactical squadron: the wives left behind who must confront their own fears, uncertainties, and personal demons. I've already got it setup on the DVR to record tonight.
Looks pretty good and worth checking out.
Now that FOX show Free Ride. UGH. Once was tooo much on that one.

Well let's see...I have to be very careful not to f*ck things up...I'll have to TiVo Dr. Phil for my wife while we watch American Idol together and then TiVo the Unit and either watch Dr. Phil and tape House or tape the Unit,TiVo House and watch Dr. Phil...who ever thought that watching TV could become so complicated???
My wife claims I watch too much TV...but MY (It was 2004's Xmas present from her to me) TiVo has to be set to record EVERY OPRAH and EVERY Dr. PHIL...and then, because I'm a nice husband and let her watch her shows first, I have to watch mine later. I guess if I only watched Oprah and Dr. Phil, I would be watching the correct amount of TV.

PC...you need to beat her at her own game! Start tivo'ing Maury Povich, and the Tyra Banks show and insist on watching them first!
While they are on..move yourself to tears as often as you can.
Next, tell her you think the both of you should do more volunteering in your community picking up garbage and trucker bombs alongside the local highways!
If that doesnt get her to insist you watch MORE TV, you are screwed!
