One of my Holy Grails........

These cards were extremely hard to get. In fact they are 12 years old and I am still missing 2. Believe it or not a Good friend of mine from the Hamptons sent me 1 or 2 in 95', over the next ten 10 years I spent scouring ebay and exhausting any resources I had to find them, ended up getting most. Still I am on a fools errand to complete this set.

So anyone from NY, knows anyone or has connections in the ice cream vender industry I would be most appreciative. Ordinarily I don't like to put out any information of something that I have not completed or already have in my hand as to not confuse anyone with "details", but I am a desperate woman in this particular situation.

They are Cold Fact Files (X-men) cut out cards that were apparently on boxes/wrappers of some kind of popsicle/ice cream that were sold through street venders only......total of 12

I am missing #s 10 and 11 believed to be Wolverine and Mystique.....

As Fossa predicted my 1,000th post will be in this section and of one of my Holy Grails. It's a Rogue 1994 Marvel Universe trading card stamped with a diamond edition seal and is a one of a kind. I believe whichever company that produced these, stamped only one of every card in the set. It may not be very valuable except to me!!!!!

This company pisses me off.
I don't know how they get away with it.
They take a card and put a stamp on it.
People think it's really rare and run the bid up.
I'll have to find a company that makes gold stampers and start doing this myself.
A $.05 card selling for $10+, it wouldn't take long to pay for itself.

That's like that Rogue and Mystique cards you showed that are # or 150.
How does that guy do it?
Upper Deck has the Marvel card license.
But they must have sold part of it off or something because Rittenhouse is releasing the X3 cards.
This has been going on with cards more and more lately.
So why the heck does Marvel give Randy such a hard time?

You know, that's a great question. People can get away with so much. Tony told me a rumor something like as long as someone is producing them under a certain amount, then they can get away with it. But it's just a rumor. I don't know how they do it either. I just can't resist to get anything that's Rogue though. Even it's an unofficial licensed product.
