Marvel Origins at SD Con

I wasn't thrilled when I first saw the DD and Iron Man pieces before the Con. But after seeing them at the Con I have to admit I like them and may end up buying every single pieces. Take a gander at the pics I took.

cool concept, i can see how someone would purchase one and want em all just like the damn ss prop sets!!

luckily for me, the paintjob by this company sucks so i won't have to go looking for change!

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Cool idea but I'm not sure about them yet. The DD looks best IMO. They look more like Applause statues you'd see in Big Lots than quality collectibles. I'm a big DST fan, but their offerings of late have been going downhill for me. I sincerely hope these pieces look better in person.

It gets worse. HORRIBLE. The hulk is shapless, and what is it with those cats whiskers on Wolvies face. DB has nothing to worry about here.

The idea is interesting. Even the black and white angle has potential. However, it looks like plastic... I think the hobby has long moved on from this type of unsophisticated look. I've been too spoiled by the greats presently out there.

This what these characters looked like when they first appeared in the comics ... look pretty true to the source material (at least close)

I get the concept, I think it is very interesting, but that isn't my idea of the original grey Hulk. Still as long as others like them i'm sure DST can do without my purchase.

I hate to be too critical, but they could be better. I realize they are $70 statues, but look at what other companies are doing with statues in that price range. I agree, step it up.
