Kustom Kolor
I was at Walmart today and saw a whole section of these model paints called Kustom Kolor (they are safe for resin models right?).
THey have some nice colors. From what I gather they are enamel. Has anyone used these and how are they for handbrushing?
Can you mix paint with them and acrylics or will the 2 paints react with each other?
Thanks

Picked some up a few weeks ago and I still haven't used them. I couldn't find the thinner. But you're right, they have some nice colors.

Can't you just use mineral spirits/paint thinner to thin them?

Enamels are pimarily for styrene (injection molded plastic) cars and such. They would be fine to use with your resin kits, but I do not recommend using them with a hand brush (enamels do not brush very well and can leave heavy brush marks). Since they are not water based, they cannot be mixed with acrylics. They can be thinned with paint thinner and mineral spirits.
