How long Should Haynesworth be suspended?

I say he be hit with a Huge fine of at least $250,000 and at least a 6 game suspension if not the rest of the season for what he did...

The rest of the season with no pay or 250k fine, which ever is more money. This retard should go to jail for that crap he pulled.

Heat of moment... Things happen... he should be suspended... 6 games + 100K sends a message to the rest of the league... What happens on the field should stay on the field... It is a violent game played by violent men... they are not teddy bears... So no jail time... no loss of lively hood...
Too many of our liberties are being taken away from us already... Do you know they want to ban Transacid fats in New York? What about the Internet Gaming bill that was snuck in on a Port Defense Bill making online gambling illegal punishable by 5 years in jail.
We live in a very overzealous enviroment right now... The man said he was sorry... I believe him... He should be punished... but not thrown into jail, that is overstepping the line.

5 games and 190k were fair.
As for assualt charges, who gives a flying f%$# if he apologized and is truly sorry. I walk up to any of you on the street and stomp your face in to the tune of 25 stitches and you'll want me in jail. No matter how sorry I am or what my excuse is for my behavior. We live in a society and that society does not end at the sidelines of a field.

Exactly. Athletes shouldn't be above the law. Anyone in the street goes to jail for that stunt he pulled. The guy is an animal and If I were that guy I would press charges. Things happen my ass. He should be gone for the rest of the year without pay IMO.

The move had nothng to do with gameplay. Looked like assault to me. I personally think the cops should have been called.
$150K and 5 games seems like a fine response to me. Given this instance, if it happens again by anyone, I would hope the games and fine would be increased.
