their FAQ says

"Are there different versions of this collectible for different territories?

There are no plans for different versions or variants based on territory at this time."

That's what made me wonder if there would be a sideshow version. They say there won't be region specific variants but maybe there will be a non-region variant

If your not a big gamer you won't know much about it but I'll fill you in a little on it. Starcraft is arguably the best selling and most popular RTS (real time strategy games) of all time still to this day millions of people play the original. And this statue is to commemorate the coming of StarCraft 2. It's safe to say when it's released it breaks numerous sales records...in Korea I'm sure it will sell more than 5-6 million copies in record time.
