What do you guys use for risers in showcases?

I was thinking of using something ( make glass?) to create a 2 staircase/step thing in the back of a detolf showcase. Nothing too big, just enough to put a bust on it. That way, I could display more
usts/action figures per shelf......

What do you guys use?

Acrylic risers can get expensive so I use, believe it or not, beanie baby boxes, the kind that open towards the middle. You can get a case of 25 off eBay pretty cheap seeing that no one collects them anymore. Split the boxes and you have 25 small cube risers and 25 tall cube risers.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

I have a couple small white shipping boxes that I got with shot glasses. And the last time I bought a curio cabinet, I saved some of the cleaner white parts of the box to cut into cubes. I've also got some wooden watch displays from a department store case that I cut to suit my needs.

Yes, I'm being very cheap.:tounge:
