That's just unbelievably goofy.
Nothing looks more silly than baseball players and coaches getting mad. They should just settle down and play the game.

Good point, Foord. But I've been baited before and nobody has had to tackle me to the ground because I was losing control.

I've never understood the immature tantrums either. The governing bodies should crack down on hysterical players, coaches and managers instead of encouraging them.

I completely agree that the governing bodies should end these displays of stupidity. And they certainly could if they wanted to.
Nowhere outside of professional wrestling are coaches and players allowed to lose their minds as they do in baseball. The nose-to-nose confrontations, hat throwing, dirt kicking, and the "whoah, somebody better hold me back!" displays just make them look like idiots. Very rarely do such things happen on the sidelines in football or basketball. In baseball, it happens practically every day. Sure, the athletes and coaches are playing a game, but that doesn't mean they should act like children.

Bradley is known for this type of behavior... saying that... in this incident... he was totally justified in his actions against the Ump... The Ump was baiting him and accusing him of throwing his bat at the Home Plate umpire after a called 3rd strike... The Ump in question kept jawing at him, and kept inciting the incident, where Bradley had to finally call time and go get thrown out...
I agree that there should not be hysterics in baseball.. but sometimes it starts with the guys in blue...

Oh yeah, I think there should be heavy penalties for that ump's actions. Umpires should NEVER being doing that. And with all the scandals with NBA referees and such, officials should be on their best behavior nowadays.
