Of all the new X-Men that were created which ones will last?

Of all the new X-Men that were created which ones will last?

Does anyone think any of the newer mutants introduced with the New X-Men series actually have any type of staying power which will last 20 years. Does anyone have staying power in your opinion?

I don't know anymore--I used to think that the characters from Generation X would be around for a while, but very few of them are. And the New Mutants have only a slightly better average than GenX.

if I had to pick...I'd hope for Rockslide.

But, it would be a great story for all of these little tykes to play the part of the Morlocks in Mutant Massacre II!

I bet X-23 is in for the long, long haul. She's the only one I'd say is a lock, although Pixie, Dust and Rockslide have worlds of potential. Still, there's not a bad character in the lot: Hellion, Surge, Mercury, Anole, Nezhno, etc.

I agree with X-23. (Hey, that rhymes!)

I wouldn't hold your breath on the others. There are tons of "teen" heroes that seem to come and go with the recent generations, rarely to be heard of again.
