Best DULL / MATTE spray?

I accidentally polished one of my statues a little to hard and now its too shiny. Can some recommend a good matte or satin clear spray? I don't have an airbrush machine - so I'm looking for a can.

I bought a can of Testors dullcote spray and tested it. Its way too dull and the quality is really bad - it leaves 'water spots' looking texture behind.

Hope someone here can recommend a good one!

Thanks!

Yup Armory is really good. I heard Polly S is good too though I have never used it. Testor's Dullcote liquid sprayed through the airbrush is really good too.

How does one thin the Dullcote liquid?

I've never thinned it personally but Testor's does sell thinner. I assume any thinner would be adequate. 50% alcohol/water should do the trick also.

Testors Dullcote is a lacquer based sealer, so any good quality lacquer thinner will work perfectly. Do not mix water into any solvent based paints/sealers.

No, this is also a water based product.
I would only recommend using lacquer thinner or the Testors thinner made specifically for their product.

I've taken a liking to mixing my own flat using Future Floor Wax and Tamiya Flat Base. 1 part flat base to 10 parts Future gives a really nice flat finish. The beauty of it is it is water based and airbrushable once mixed.
