I hate to ruin a good party, but I am one of those people that when something bugs me I do something about it.
I bought a DVD today. It cost me over $30.00 after tax. Bunch of BS if you ask me. And why does it cost so much?
Same reason retailers raise prices from time to time.. Thievery. I don't care if its a re-caster or an idiot on Youtube.. it's all the same to me. You stole someone else's work. If I had to pay for it, why shouldn't the joe schmoes on Youtube? Just pisses me off. So what do I do?
I report them.
Yeah.. say what you will, but I do the same thing here if I see a re-caster. No one gripes when I do that do they?
Yeah, I'm a jerk but I'm an honest jerk who gets what he pays for and doesn't see why others shouldn't do the same.

Know what's funny about it? These studios make it incredibly difficult to report issues like this. There aren't any contact links or anything, you really have to dig which just gets me more riled up.
I was just irked when I buy the video, then I see it online in multiple parts or in whole for free. I'm sick of the stupid commercials at the beginning of films about the Snickers bar/click of a button because of these idiots.
Just one of the things that irks me. I am FULLY AWARE that I am in a very tiny minority on this one and will probably take a lot of heat for it, but it's my opinion that I did the right thing whther it's pular or not.
If I would have seen a recaster on this forum I would have nailed them too. Lot of people do a lot of hard work here.. would you not report someone for getting a commision piece form.. oh i don't know.. EdinhoMaga or William Paquet and then recasting it and selling it? Darn tootin you would. That would be a huge bashfest without a doubt. So, to me, it's no different.

deepdiscount.com will match any dvd price on the internet and shipping is always free. twice a year they even have a 20% off sale that saves upwards of $50 on box sets. got the entire seinfeld series for $150 shipped recently. sweeeet.

I'm with you wesley. I think its wrong to steal, whatever. Music, bootlegs, like you said, all that makes things difficult for the honest guy. And the BS mentality that "everyone does it" is completely backwards. What, everyone steals so that makes it okay? **** that. I've never bought a bootleg anything, nor will I watch a bootleg anything.

I hate how retail shops in the UK think they are discounting stuff cos its £1 off RRP and the online its like half the price.
I saw a preorder for Kung Fu Panda and they were saying it was half price cos the original RRP is £20 about $33.
WTF?? are they tring to tell me someone would pay that kind kinda money for a DVD??
Until retail companys realise that they need to be competitive there sales are gonna carry one dropping
