A few David Finch questions. ???
Now I know I made a few finch threads but I wanted to make a new one so these wonderings get answered. In waiting ever so patiently for his Commission list to open up again, I have a few questions about his list. First, how do you go about getting on it? With so many people wanting to get on and seeing as he only accepts 20 to 30 at a time, how hard is it to get on it? Is it like a ssc exclusive?lol.
Do you pay upfront for the Commission? And if so, how does he accept payment?
How many Commissions can you set up at one time? Like say I wanted a Half body Mooon knight and I also wanted a full body Spidey, would he do both? Given, I pay for both of course. Thanks!

You pay when he is getting ready to do it or finishes it. I don't think he takes half body shots as commissions I think you have to get that at a convention. Your best bet is to get him at a convention or have a buddy get it at a convention. He takes a few requests for full bodies to complete in his hotel room at conventions. This is your best way of not having to wait until the list opens.

If you really want a drawing by Finch, you should try to see him at a convention even if you have to fly to one. He has a huge list to go through and he only has time to get through a few every year. It can be another year or two (or longer) before his list opens up again.
But there's always ebay for other people's Finch commissions I hear there's a Storm that somebody is selling

As far as commissions go, David and Meredith are top Notch. If you do go to a con, make sure you que up as soon as possible.

Let me add my two cents here as well. David and Meredith are fine and caring folks. You will not find anyone better to deal with, and you are assured a piece that you will love.

Agreed. They were some of the nicest people to deal with and have not disappointed the last two NYCC's.
