2010 Premier Guild Membership (the free gifts)
Well VinylSquirrel, a GG employee who posts on some forums, revealed over at GGC pics of the 3 mini busts that customers will be able to select from as their free gift with membership. The other two will be available for sale to PGM members for the regular price.
She also stated that the 2010 membership should be available for renewal on January 4th.

Clone Wars Commander Fox - animated version. We went with the Animated Version as we found the design of the Rex did not differentiate too much from the Animated Style. Also, with all the success of the Animated Series, we really want to support this series. Look for more Clone Wars Animated style mini busts in 2010!!!

Commander Faie! This guy rocks! He is being painted right now, and all I can say is, "WOW"! I hope you all enjoy him as he will make a great addition to anyone's collections!

Filch with Mrs. Norris. I gotta say, I love this Mini Bust. It turned out fantastic!!! Note that Filch will be holding a lantern, in which I am hoping to have a light-up feature like Hagrids. I think we really captured the likeness of Filch.
Enjoy!

Wow, these look good. I'd be interested in both SW busts.

All these busts with stupidly long rifles are making it really hard to fit into display cabinets!

always showing new busts, but still no sign of the ones that were supposed coming out. I'm thinking of selling the entire gg collection and stick with ss instead, beginning to hate the delays of those minibusts
ot: who's Commander Faie?

Personally I'm sick to death of seeing clone trooper after clone trooper.
I think it's fairly safe to say they stick to troopers because getting actual facial likeness is harder than sculpting helmets.
But my GOD is it boring to anyone else to see waves of clone troopers with mild variations? Wouldn't people rather see characters (even obscure) be touched upon?
Or is that just asking too much? Maybe some OT characters? Anyone?

Why is Fox in the animated style? They made Rex more realistic, seems appropriate, but whatever...

I hear ya. Fortunately for me I'm a huge fan of the Clones and all Trooper variants for that matter so it doesn't bother me. Plus I've wanted a BARC Trooper for a long time now so I'm psyched about Commander Faie.

Was wondering the same thing. If its not realistic style it isn't going to fit in with the rest of my collection. Unless they're planning on doing other animated style busts I may pass on this one.

i personally like the clone. i agree about the animated style that unless theres going to be more than it should be realistic. i just wish with the vast array of characters to choose from that gentle giant would release more busts a year than what we are getting. that we , we can still get all the clone variations but not miss out on all the other great characters
