I'm actually LOL! I could see it now. We'd be heading to church and then you'd see the cross like Damien did and start freaking out! The only part that differs is I'd have made the little bastard go in to see what happened!!!

That movie scared/still scares the bejeezers out of me. I could just see walking into the collection room late at night and having this thing there ( the yellow eyes following me). No friggin' way! Scariest ... movie ... ever.

I agree with everything said here. "The Exorcist" is the ONLY scary movie in history, IMO.
That movie gives me the heebie-jeebies like no other.
... ...
That being said, I think an Exorcist statue would be magnificent and much-deserved and I'd want to buy it ... but I really don't know if I could display it. Demons and demon possession is the scariest thing in the world, IMO.

Wow that bust is awesome. I would love to see you sculpt a 1/4 scale PF for SS.

Actually, I agree: "Jaws" is VERY scary, BUT it's scary in a completely different way and on a completely different level than "The Exorcist."
"The Exorcist" frightens me on an extremely base, fundamental level, much more deeply than a movie about any flesh-and-blood animal or serial killer ever could scare me.

and the fact that it was based on a real life story makes it even more frightening...

Yes, indeed, that's exactly right. The idea that demons are real is scarier than an entire army of slasher-movie villains. One true case of demon possession beats 1,000 Freddy Kruger movies every single time.
Plus, the sound effects in "The Exorcist" are completely horrifying.
