Recreations line for line?

New Mutants 87 recreated by Liefield line for line. I don't know about you guys but if the artists recreates my exact piece. Well it kind of pisses me off. There are certain artists who will give you pretty close to the real thing, but change some things.
What do you guys think? This would upset me if I owned the first Cable appearance.

I think I would be a bit torqued off. You buy the artwork because it is a unique piece of art, I would expect the artist would not do an exact copy of it.

I'm not a fan of exact recreations from the same artist. Another artist doing the same cover is fine.

Defeats the whole idea of a unique piece of art by the original artist! Not a fan of the idea of exact recreations by the same artist. Best,

he should have put something like 2 at his sig or something to show the difference. What's to stop the winner from saying this is the original?
edit: noticed the date on the sig, but that could be changed easily
