Lego Star Trek bridge

So here's the scoop. There is a "store" I hang out with. Well "store" is a stretch. The owners, whom I am good friends with, sell mostly online. It's a small two room store with a small display area and small warehouse area. They sell mostly Golf Frisbee stuff but also are in to Legos, comic statues, action figures, and other assorted things.

Anyways, while hanging around we would build legos things and the owners sell them on Ebay. Here is the result of one the ventures. Here is a cool thing we built and I bought it from them.

Very cool!! What other cool scenes have you guys created?

Also, do you play disc golf? Awesome, relaxing game!

I haven't played disc golf yet but they are trying to convince me to try it this spring. I may. As long as it's not too much exercise for a couch potato. LOL

We've made some castles and jungle type scenes. These guys buy legos in bulk from craiglist sellers and then separate them and sell individual pieces and mini-figs. So building is something we do just hanging around. They have all sorts of "random" scenes and a lot of mini-figs. This was just sort of a "you know what we need to build? The Star Trek bridge!". Then it turned into a collaborative building as 3 or 4 of us would be rooting bins of Legos looking for certain pieces and recommending how to make it better. It actually all started with one of the guys putting 3 mini-figs (in the appropriate uniform colors) and it just sort of migrated from that to what I'm showing here. It was fun.

That's really cool!

Now all you need is a lego with a beard, black suit and tall hat

"appearances can be most deceiving... but not in this case James Kirk, I am Lego Abraham Lincoln."

I've played for the last six years or so. Give it a try, it is not as stressful as regular golf, just a good way to spend an afternoon walking through the woods and spending some time with some friends.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
