You know what I will take this to PM as I don't want to derail the thread any more then it already has been. Needless to say that I disagree with you about the neck seam being indefensible, and I TOTALLY don't think that a change of torso, as nice as it sounds, would have been practical given the sized of this piece.
P.S. I tried to send a PM, but your box is full

For the price + shipping of $106 to S'pore, hope I don't have to resort to that just to display the regular head

I wouldn't know the first thing about tinkering with those teeth... lol

The teeth are an insert that was put in from the back of the head. I wonder if there is a fix that would be possible. Honestly, they are SO varied from statue to statue. I wish they had just opened up the mouth more.

I've always liked the regular as much as the exclusive. I personally don't mind the difference in texture/tone that much, but I would've preferred him having fuller pupils as seen in the "production" pics as compared to the "sleepier" looking eyes shown in collectors' pics....and those teeth & seams gaps..urgh....guess I can only judge properly after this game of roulette.

filling the gaps wouldn't be too difficult for the right person, would just take a little epoxy sculpt and paint. hopefully ss would be able to provide replacements that are issue free though

Backfilling will be easy. I am wondering if there is a different option

I think the option is to dremel out the "connecting" pieces and then repaint. Which I probably will do if my head comes messed up.
