I used to prefer full mixed media during my noob days, but not anymore. Nowadays, it all depends on how mixed media works with the statue, so I don't mind it to a certain extent. A piece like SS's original Sabretooth has way too much of it. Too much takes away from the sculpt. PCS has perfect mixed media and sculpt detail balance for almost all of their stuff. Other overly used MM pieces are the new Doom and Wolverine PFs. The Superman and Batman PFs have mixed media uniforms with sculpted capes. Both of them should've been the opposite, meaning sculpted suits and MM capes. Sideshow got it right with Keaton, which is why Prime 1's Batman pieces will dominate once they're released. Lobo is another perfect balance of MM and sculpt detail. Gentle Giant makes pieces that give a great option of allowing you to display their pieces with or without MM. (i.e. TWD Michonne and Daryl). A few companies are doing full sculpt detail and paint so good that it literally looks like real mixed media when displayed (i.e. Gentle Giant and Iron Studios). So full sculpt for me.

I much prefer fully sculpted statues, but I like the bomber jackets on my PF Cyclops and Rogue. Cloth capes and/or costumes don't really work for me. Fully sculpted gives statues a cleaner look, and generally more closely mirror comic artwork.
In my opinion, one of the best mixed media statues is the Gentle Giant Scar-Jo Black Widow.

Fully sculpted by a billion miles by far! I love the more details it offers.dont like the doll effects like we got with ss black cat, ss catwoman, ss sabertooth, ss wolverine, suoerman was good but still prefer fully sculpted by far same with bats etc..... Maybe with prime 1 1/3 line I don't know yet. I'm sure I would still choose fully sculpted but still looks good with prime 1, 1/3 bat line.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Mixed Media for me.

I can't imagine something like the PCS Nash statue looking better fully sculpted vs what it looks like now

Too easy, I mainly wanted to see what interested people the most when given choices.

Full Sculpt. It just looks better.

Mixed Media can be great when called for else it either looks jarring or too doll like.

The more mixed media, the better.
