A place were fans of 80s cartoons can share their thoughts on their most beloved childhood characters. Here are mine!
Mon-Star The Planet Master
What could be cooler than a snarling, fiery haired alien that looks like a demon from Hell who sits on a clawed throne in a twisted castle on a molten planet that infusing himself with the power of a star to transform into a super powered fully armored version of himself? When transformed Mon-Star gains invulnerability, energy blasts, rocket propelled flight and a mind controlling 'Light Star' blast that tracks its targets! Too awesome! How does he get around the Limbo Galaxy? He rides a giant armored Space Squid! He's probably the most sinister-looking, powerful, and highly underrated 80s cartoon villain.
Tex Hex
I don't really know what Tex Hex is- a specter? A zombie? All I know is he is the perfect antithesis to Marshall Bravestarr. A dead skinned, demon eyed gunslinger who possessed black magic and a deadly pair of plasma pistols. If his goofy Filmation look doesn't give you chills, check out this cool update by a great artist!
Shredder
What can I say about Shredder? Easily one of the most iconic 80s villains from one of the biggest Saturday morning 80s cartoons that has not managed to lose much steam over the last 2 decades. Though he has seen several redesigns throughout his long history across various media, I love his classic 80s toon look the most.
