Storm has a very thin gap right now between her head and her hair. Also a couple within her hair as seen from behind. This is all because it's a proto. I bet once the hair is correctly and permanently attached to her head, and the gap is completely gone, the hairline will be fine.

This is exactly what I was picturing. I think Storm is going to display really good with Jean. They seem to mirror each other.
I don't think I would put them this close together though.

Yeah in comparison Storm’s hairline isn’t like that at all.
If anything that front piece needs to reign it in a bit because it’s too far in front of her hairline, and then the side hairline could loosen up a bit to match the front line.

My guess is, both the left and right arms will detach, in the name of avoiding breakage during transport. The design lends itself perfectly to a seam/seamless join point, which was no doubt intentional.
On the subject of hairline, it looks fine. Unlike the Black Widow EX
